Surgeries require&nbsp;extreme&nbsp;focus&nbsp;from surgeons,&nbsp;doctors and&nbsp;all caregivers. Any lapse in attention or care can result in very serious injuries to patients. Unfortunately, thousands of people&nbsp;across the country suffer every year due to <a href=\"https:\/\/wvrecord.com\/stories\/525116528-bandak-plastic-surgery-faces-suit-alleging-botched-thigh-lift\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">medical malpractice<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In another state, a woman filed a lawsuit against a surgeon over allegations that the surgeon&#8217;s errors led to the woman suffering injuries and complications. According to the claim, the woman underwent a thigh lift and breast augmentation procedure&nbsp;performed by the defendant. The lawsuit alleged that the surgeon removed too much skin during the thigh lift procedure.<\/p>\n<p>The plaintiff claims the error&nbsp;caused&nbsp;her to develop pain and pulling in her lower extremities, as well as scarring and tenderness. Allegedly the woman had a corrective procedure performed, but she says she still experiences complications from her initial surgery. The plaintiff seeks a trial by jury and monetary damages.<\/p>\n<p>When a mistake is made during a medical&nbsp;procedure,&nbsp;the patient will ultimately&nbsp;suffer the consequences. Those&nbsp;in&nbsp;Illinois&nbsp;who believe that they or their loved ones were&nbsp;affected by&nbsp;medical malpractice&nbsp;can&nbsp;pursue legal action by consulting a&nbsp;knowledgeable and experienced attorney.
