It is important for victims to be familiar with legal resources protecting them when they have been harmed by a dangerous or defective product and the parties that may be liable to help them with their damages.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/product-liability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Products liability<\/a> law protects victims injured by dangerous or defective products. Victims can bring a products liability claim for damages to help them with their physical, financial and emotional damages. Victims may be able to recover compensation for medical expenses, lost wages and pain and suffering damages, as well as other types of damages depending on the circumstances. There are different theories upon which liability may be based which is why it is helpful for victims to be familiar with how products liability law works.<\/p>\n<p>Victims have the right to be safe when using everyday consumer products and when that ordinary expectation of the consumer is not met, a variety of parties may be liable to compensate victims for their damages.
